Lena Dirscherl

Lena Dirscherl has been publishing weekly illustrations on body positivity and queerness on Instagram under the name BoPoLena (=Body Positive Lena) for the past 7 years. Dirscherl's intersectional approach has now attracted over 22,000 followers to these works.

Thanks to this reach, Dirscherl has already had the opportunity of being invited as a guest on various podcasts, such as "Allyship is a Verb", "Body Story Podcast" and "Mind Matters".

Dirscherl works full-time in the field of illustration and has been illustrating magazine texts, album covers, and advertising campaigns since 2014.

Intersectional feminism, anti-racism, and LGBTQ+ issues are particularly close to Dirscherl's heart, and she always strives to raise awareness of these issues with her clients. Dirscherl also offers a series of workshops focussing on these topics to raise awareness.

To ensure that her enthusiasm for comics is given enough space, Dirscherl is a regular co-host of the special "Manga Mochi" format of the "Comic Cookie Podcast".
