The Kebbel-Villa is an exhibition venue and museum for modern and contemporary art in Schwandorf, the seat of the Schwandorf district in the Upper Palatinate, Bavaria. The museum presents outstanding positions of international and local art on a regular basis, accompanied by artists’ talks, guided tours, and educational formats. The event programme furthermore includes concerts, readings, etc.

Since 1988, the Gründerzeit building has been home to the Oberpfälzer Künstlerhaus, which facilitates artistic production under ideal conditions due to its extensive workshops for screen printing, etching, and lithography.

Featuring the art collection of the district of Upper Palatinate, the collections of the city of Schwandorf and the Förderverein Oberpfälzer Künstlerhaus e.V., the Kebbel-Villa preserves a broad spectrum of regional and international art.

The International Künstlerhaus, run by the Förderverein Oberpfälzer Künstlerhaus e.V., is also located on the grounds. It is used as a residential and working space within the framework of the scholarship programme for visual arts, composition, and literature, run in cooperation with partner institutions from all over the world.

The Kebbel-Villa is a space for cultural exchange that focuses on the presentation, production, and support of contemporary art.
