Live-Talk + Music Special: Coming Home | Sven Faller & August Zirner

Actor and Grimme Award winner August Zirner is familiar to a wide audience from over 120 cinema and television films. In his new programme Coming Home, he and Sven Faller tell entertaining stories of leaving and arriving, based on the surprising love stories of their respective grandmothers.
In the process, they cross the Atlantic several times, discuss the myth of the German motorway and follow a German-born rolling stone to Hollywood as well as the blues from Illinois to Vienna.
An exciting musical dialogue between flute and double bass cheerfully accompanies these stories. Zirner and Faller playfully revive not only American classics from Summertime to Take Five, but also Bach's Bourrée.
