Call for residency scholarship at our partner in Jakobstad, Finland in Autumn 2025
For Autumn 2025, the Friends of the Oberpfälzer Künstlerhaus are offering a four-week exchange scholarship for Bavarian artists in collaboration with their partner in Jakobstad:

The residency is offered in connection with the BA Fine Arts program at the Novia University of Applied Sciences. The studio of the scholarship holder is located on the Allegro campus, where he/she will have access to various offerings of the university and can participate in some events. The artist's own practice can be presented through a public presentation and/or an artist talk.
An apartment as well as the studio are provided free of charge. In addition, the scholarship holder will receive a daily rate of €18 for meals. Any travel costs will not be covered.
The exact timeframe of the residency will be defined in coordination with the residency partner. An extension to 5 weeks is possible upon agreement, yet the provided rate for meals is limited to a period of 4 weeks.
Eligibility requirements: Freelance artist with residence or significant connection to Bavaria, no age limit. Applicants who have already received a scholarship by the Friends of the Oberpfälzer Künstlerhaus may reapply three years after their last exchange.
