Magdaléna Nováková (born 1989) and Jan Zdvořák (born 1983) together form the art group PRAVA RADOST, which was founded in Prague in 2012 and works in an interdisciplinary manner.
Their works have been shown in numerous international contexts, including exhibitions such as Biruchiyexpo016 in Ukraine (2016), the 8th International Dada Festival in Basel (2014) and the group exhibition Trafacka - Temple of Freedom in London (2014). Other significant events were the Happening Chlebičky/Sandwiches at the National Gallery in Prague (2015) and the PRAVA RADOST Manifesto (2014) in Prague. The group has also been represented at international art platforms such as the Sculpture Symposium in Poscenje, Montenegro (2014) and several times at the Woodo Symposium in Poděbrady, Czech Republic (2011 and 2012).
In addition to their exhibitions, PRAVA RADOST has participated in several residency programs, including the Biruchiy Contemporary Art Project, Ukraine, in 2016 and the NCCA Residency in Saint Petersburg, Russia, in 2013. The group engages with a variety of media and formats, which they use for their experimental work, and has developed a significant presence both in Czechia and internationally.
